I use a lot of free / open-source software - both at work and at home. Of course, I’m also an open source developer, which means that I spend an inordinate amount of my “free time” working on side projects. Now and then, one of them becomes mature enough that other people might find it more useful than annoying. Once it hits that tipping point, it ends up here.
Twittershare is a simple tool for sharing pictures, music, videos, and other files with friends using Twitter. Why Pownce?
Currently, Twittershare is available for Mac OS X and via a web interface. A cross-platform Adobe AIR app is in the works. For more information and to grab your copy, head to http://www.twittershare.com or read something a little more personal on my site here.
Phoreo Elements is a WordPress plugin that I created to speed up my design and development process when building WordPress sites. Elements allows you to create any number of editable content regions, inject content in various places around your site, and control what should be displayed where - without adding a nasty template hack each time.
If you’re a developer and that sounds kinda cool, check it out.
